      Frequently Asked Questions

Every dog is different, but many owners notice a difference within 4 to 6 weeks of feeding Omni Skin every day. Skin and coat take time to renew, so keep it in the bowl day in, day out

Take it slowly. Mix a little Omni Skin into your dog's current food and increase it gradually over 7 to 10 days until it's all Omni. If their tummy seems unsettled, slow down and give them a few extra days at each step. If your vet has suggested an elimination diet, follow their plan for switching.

Omni Skin is made for adult dogs aged 1 year and over, so it's not suitable for puppies, who need a food made for growth. Larger breeds can keep growing until around 2 years, so check with your vet before switching. Senior dogs can enjoy it too. Just keep an eye on their weight and adjust portions as they slow down.

Yes. Omni Skin is complete, so it doesn't need anything added, but a spoonful of wet food or a topper is fine. Just reduce the dry portion so you're not overfeeding, and keep treats and extras to around 10% of daily calories. If you're managing a suspected food allergy, choose toppers made without chicken, beef, dairy, soya or grain.

It depends on your dog's size and activity. As a guide, for a 10kg dog a 2kg bag lasts around 11 days and a 10kg bag around 8 weeks. For a 20kg dog, it's about a week and around 5 weeks. Subscribe and we'll deliver on your schedule, so you never run out.

Itchy skin has lots of possible causes, from fleas to pollen, so food is just one part of the picture. Make sure flea treatment is up to date, and if the itching carries on or gets worse, book in with your vet. Our vet team can help you work out next steps for free.

Shedding is natural, and many dogs shed more in spring and autumn, so no food will stop it. Omni Skin is nutrient dense, with omega 3 and 6 to support a healthy, naturally nourished coat. A coat takes time to renew, so give it a few weeks.

Omni Skin is made without chicken, beef, dairy, soya or grain ingredients. Its protein comes from plants like potato, pea and lupin, an alternative for dogs who react to common animal proteins. If your dog has a diagnosed allergy, check with your vet before switching.
