Sophie is a veterinary surgeon with over 15 years of diverse experience across clinical practice, leadership, and digital innovation. After qualifying in 2009, she worked in mixed and exotic animal practice, volunteered internationally, and held senior roles in both private and charity sectors, including leading a 50-strong hospital team at PDSA. She has a certificate in General Small Animal Practice and completed a veterinary leadership program at Cornell. Alongside her clinical career, she developed a passion for client education and communication, which led her to Omni, where she looks forward to meeting you and your pets.
Nico Joiner
Canine Behaviourist
Nico Joiner is a canine behaviour and welfare specialist with more than 18 years of experience in training, rehabilitation, and rehoming.
Before joining Omni, Nico built his career at Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, where he played a leading role in developing its national rehabilitation and behaviour programmes.

Our dog is a large hound and was not a pet when we got him aged 3. His anxiety was worrying - he would be relatively calm with us, but anyone visiting the house made him uncontrollable with anxiety. He was not aggressive, didn’t attack or snap, but would howl and charge up and down the stairs and around the house ‘flacking’ his ears and shaking visibly. It took quite a few months for Omni to have a significant effect and he still hasn’t gotten used to strangers coming to the door, but his everyday behaviour is very noticeably more rational (if that’s a valid term for dog behaviour) and is much calmer. He calms quickly in the presence of female visitors but still reserves a little madness for males.

Our five year old working cocker has now been taking the Daily Calm Supplement for quite a while now (I'm unsure as to how long) but he is still somewhat anxious and barks at every person that comes to our door, especially the postman.
He also has a high separation anxiety problem and the supplements don't seem to help with this either.
I have recently received three more packs of the supplement so will keep on giving him these and report back on any progress made when we are on the last box and make a decision as to whether it is worth keeping on with the pills...
