Co-Founder of Omni
About
Shiv Sivakumar is the founder of Omni Pet. After beginning his career in finance, he transitioned from investment banking to entrepreneurship, inspired by his dog Leo and a desire to make sustainable nutrition accessible for pets.
In 2020, Shiv co-founded Omni with veterinarian Dr Guy Sandelowsky, combining his business skills with Guy’s veterinary science to create nutritionally complete, plant-based diets for dogs. The two appeared on BBC Dragons’ Den, where it secured investment from Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett at a valuation of around £3 million. Omni continues to grow as one of the UK’s leading sustainable pet-nutrition companies, recognised for its scientific formulations and ethical mission.
Beyond his work at Omni, Shiv advocates for responsible pet nutrition and sustainability across the wider pet-care industry.
